In addition to commercial work, Jiménez has realized numerous other works and publications on culture, art and education. He has been the official photographer of the International Cervantino Festival, the Muestras Nacionales de Teatro and the Gran Festival in Mexico City. He has documented more than 22 indigenous groups throughout Mexico. He has been documenting the haciendas of State of Querétaro and México and producing calendars on those haciendas for the last years. He currently has a book on the topic underway, to be released.
